In today’s video, I go on the hunt for MONSTER redtail catfish and other aquarium fish that were released into a local pond! I baited up my monster fish traps and let them sit for 24 hours in attempt to catch the pond monster! I also threw the cast net while we waited and I caught cool exotic fish like midas cichlids! While we were waiting we realized my fish trap moved, which meant a BIG FISH was in it! We checked it and ended up catching a monster snakehead! After a full 24 hours we checked my fish traps and ended up catching oscars, plecos, cichlids, and 2 MONSTER redtail catfish (1 being a hybrid) which we brought back to put into my backyard ponds as my new pets! Should we go back and try to catch the rest?

when putting out a fish trap…. try staking the line. a stick will work. stake the line and you dont have to go out in water to get your trap. Just FYI from an old fisherman.
