The truth is, 99.9% will Never, Ever get their $$ back!!!! It's a waste of money. Invest in real estate or something and Make $$!!! It's an expensive hobby at best. So youll spend around $5-15k minimum a yr. to win one tourney and win like $1500!

For many, the best buy is a 14 to 16 ft aluminum hull boat with 15 to 40 hp.
No wood to rot, the aluminum hulls can survive 50 + years even with poor storage practices.

I been watching for awhile. Yeah good you didn’t bring your boat to lake of the pine. Lots of high stump. Lake tawokini shoot driving along wham sand burgs. East Texas live on. Instead of lodge check out over landing. I spend 100.00 every 3 days in gas alone and spend nights in 4 runners over landing.
I'm saving to buy a bass boat… In a few years, but saving… I do want to be a professional flw bass fisherman…. I'm a widower… Thanks for the advice on bass boats….

I think it's a shame that you must address the haters. I fish here in the southeast. The $65k boats have ruined the weekend tournament fishermen. It took me 10 yrs for me to get my 19 foot Nitro. Started off buying a 16 footer bass tracker and then sold or traded up from that. Got two great deals off of eBay. The only difference I can see between my 1995 Nitro/150 Johnson is those other guys can run further due to better gas tanks. But in addressing the haters, keep doing you. You have a great channel. Just stay positive and keep your eyes on being a great bass tournament champion.

I've said that there are 2 types of people: there are the ones who find reasons why things can't be done and those who always find a way to get things done and do it. I would put you in the second group and you should be proud of that and not ashamed of it. Congratulations and have fun you earned it!
Talk to everyone you can. You want the contestants /sponsors to remember and like you. This is crucial for when you inevitably have the success sponsors want to see . That total will drop considerably when you start gettin hooked up brother!!!.I am not sure how old you are but you probably dont need to be told to play your politics well. Oh if possible stay away from having a wife and kids as long as you can. Thst being said marry tbe right girl and your fishing will nor slow down that much. Sorry for long message,but some of that would have made a major difference in my early quest to be a professional walleye angler. I am almost 50 now and I think you are going be a good choice to live vicariously through LOL. Good luck and slay the bass.
It is your money do what you want. The only ones that have a right to complain is the finance companies if you start missing your payments. And of course the wife. just spend more money on her than you or take her with you and then it will be part her fault if things don't work out.
fishing keeps me sober, il spend as much as i want to keep that, there are much worse things you could be doing with the money you worked for

I run a tackle channel so obviously I show lots of different tackle and no matter how much I try to explain how I do things to let guys know I'm not spending near what they think, they only hear what they wanna hear, lol I give up trying to explain myself because you will always have those guys that take everything the wrong way.
