🎣 Kayak Fishing Eastbourne | Bass, Plaice & Huge Bait Balls! | Wishtower Summer Session

With the weather looking too good to miss, I headed down to the Wishtower area of Eastbourne for a relaxed fishing session afloat.

As the tide began to rise, it wasn’t long before I spotted fish breaking the surface, closely followed by diving gulls. After moving into the action, I managed to land a nice-sized bass, which was safely released to fight another day.

I also brought along the Deeper Pro+ fish finder, and the amount of fish showing on the screen was staggering! Despite the huge shoals of bait fish, the mackerel remained elusive.

Later in the session, I switched tactics and drifted with bait, which resulted in a welcome plaice. Like the bass, it was carefully returned to continue growing.
